![]() I was eventually signed off work by a doctor and was able to take about three weeks off. My stomach hurt, my head hurt, and I cried repeatedly. For the first four weeks I lay awake for hours and only seemed able to fall asleep for around 15 minutes at a time. In a previous job I suffered from a bout of severe anxiety-fuelled insomnia. ![]() The cumulative effect of months of sleeping trouble caused bad migraines, modes of depression, and anxiety attacks, which made falling asleep even harder.Īnonymous, 34, musician, the Netherlands ‘I was eventually signed off work’ ![]() On the few occasions I was performing, I was more on autopilot. Even worse, working as a music teacher became almost unbearable (imagine listening to six-year-olds playing recorder when you’ve had an hour’s sleep or so). My insomnia impacted me so much that as a musician I found it harder and harder to push myself to practise. I often dream of what my life could have been without insomnia.Īnonymous, director of a small not-for-profit, London ‘Working as a music teacher became almost unbearable’ #INSOMNIAX NOT WORKING PROFESSIONAL#I have had some satisfying moments career-wise since then, but I feel as if I lost out a great deal – in money and professional development. Crazy? 2.I left my job and started to do a mixture of voluntary and consultancy work part-time in the not-for-profit sector. ? (never mind don't answer that.that is way too open-ended of a question to ask on this forum ease give me your thoughts on this and because i am paranoid at this point in time, i am NOT going to exit this forum.also, yeah, should have mentioned this earlier.i guess.the night before all of this happened, i was trying to enable my pages documents to be accessible on iCloud and turned on file sharing and i would suspect that this is exactly how this all came to be.now, you can say.1. ![]() ![]() #INSOMNIAX NOT WORKING MAC#in fact, now it is on my desktop (i don't keep apps there.so why is it there?) and i can't move it off the desktop nor can i delete it.so therefore, i am suspecting that it is malware and i am taking a further leap i suspecting that mac cleanse has something to do with it.am i crazy. and mac cleanse kept popping up and saying that i had to delete these apps properly and that they could do it.but i had to buy the app for $39.99 or some b.s.anyhow, it was a circular argument since i didn't have the $ to do that in the first was then that i tried to delete insomniax and it kept saying that it was open, but when i would right click on the app, it gave me a lot of options.one of which was to "open" it.but my computer recognized it as already open and then i tried all different ways for the next two hours to delete it and it is still there. i was trying to get rid of unneeded apps last nite and i came across all of these non-apple apps, but apple-recommended nonetheless.anyhow, i didn't have the $$ right now to take them out of their expired status to permanent app on my mac pro.so i just decided to "clean house" and be done with it.at that time i was deleting mac cleanse, mac keeper and mac something else.but anyhow i noticed that mac cleanse was not cooperating. Ok, i am not anything other than a regular gal, but if i notice it, it is obvious. ![]()
